Playtime

Just a quick update after a fun weekend. Charlie is enjoying playing with some homemade toys (you can't beat a wooden spoon and a bowl) and he also got to hang out with our friends Joe and Becky, and their kids Colin and Khaki, while we attended an event. We went to the pool again today too and he had a blast! He is getting more aware of the water so he kicks and splashes quite a bit. Although, the rubber duckie is still his main interest. He starts swimming lessons tomorrow night!

He has learned that it's great fun to try to feed himself with the spoon. He's pretty successful, technically speaking, but it sure does make a mess!


I'm also including some pics of him after he worked his way backwards underneath a stool. It cracked me up. He can get just about anywhere as long as he goes backwards! He is getting better though--"any day now"--ha!
