We made the huge decision to start him on a teeny tiny bit of rice cereal today. I know this is a controversial topic to some. He is still 2 weeks away from the 4-month mark. However, we are researchers and we read a lot about it, and we felt that he was kind of stuck in the same place he was back in December when he was nursing 24/7 and not gaining any weight. We realized lately he was eating 40+ oz of milk/formula in a day, and they say anything over 32 oz may be too much. We had been worried about overfeeding until we realized he wasn't gaining weight to match that amount of food, and he always seems to be hungry. So long story short, he met the criteria. We just put a little in his bottle, and frankly, I don't think he even noticed. We will increase a little and see what happens.
Another first...we took him out to the Razorback baseball game--his first Razorback sporting event! Here are some pics. Notice how enthused he was at the end! He actually did watch the game, but I think he just really liked the big green field. I got nervous that the wind was too much for him, so we only stayed a little while.

A few quick updates on our prayer requests...Bradon came through just fine and is recovering, but he will be in a body cast for 3 months....Gavin had a few complications with bleeding but seems to be stable now....and Ethan is now waiting for a bone marrow transplant but everything else has come back clear. Please read their sites for more details, and keep praying!!!
