Miserable

When it rains, it pours. You would think after the excitement on Monday night, by this time everything would be better. However, we have discovered that Charlie has an allergy to penicillin (like me). So not only did the antibiotic not work for his ear infection that is still raging, he is now truly miserable. He is covered in a terrible rash and very swollen. This morning one eye was completely swollen shut. He looks like he's been beat up! And the doctor said it could actually get worse and bruise his whole body before it's over. On top of all of this, his front teeth are finally about to push through and his gums are really bothering him.

The good news is, despite how awful he looks, it is not making him terribly uncomfortable. He doesn't understand why his eye is closed, and his feet are very swollen so they feel funny, and he still has the fever. But his spirits are good, his appetite is good, and this morning he was walking around dancing like he always does.

So, no pictures for a few more days, I would not do that to him! Hopefully I can post with good news soon! And Happy 14-month Birthday (yesterday), Charlie!
