We're transitioning our posts here, at least to the extent they involve the day to day stuff and our new baby boy, Charlie. Jackson's Caringbridge page didn't seem like the right place to do that. So we're trying out this new spot. Meet Charlie -- he is three weeks old this weekend. We're putting up a few photos of him for you to see.
Yesterday was gameday in Arkansas -- the Razorbacks were playing Florida for the conference football championship. Charlie was pumped early in the day, and insisted that we let him wear his ballgame clothes, as you can see. However, once the game kicked off and the Hogs bumbled their way through the first quarter, Charlie grew bored with the game and decided to eat for the remaining two hours of football. You see, Charlie is going through a major growth spurt right now, and mom has much more to offer than anyone or anything else. So Charlie ate and the Hogs lost.
Charlie also got to meet his Uncle John this weekend. James' brother John came in for the weekend from Indiana, and when Charlie wasn't eating he could usually be found snuggled in John's arms. Charlie also lost his great grandmother this weekend. He just met her last weekend over Thanksgiving for the very first time. Angie's grandmother returned home to Florida on Monday and passed away in her sleep today.
We'll still post sometimes on Caringbridge when it seems appropriate, but probably more regularly here. We'll try to keep going when we can stay awake long enough. Right now we aren't getting a whole lot of sleep.
Gotta go for now. Keep Angie and her family in your prayers.
