Little Traveler

We haven't posted in a while because we were busy chasing Charlie in the old South! We took him on his first vacation last week, to South Carolina, and he had a wonderful time. He definitely loves to be out and about where he can people watch!

We stayed on an island just south of Charleston, SC with some good friends of ours, Joe and Becky, and their 2 kids. We went into Charleston a couple of days to see the sights and also took a day trip over to Savannah, GA, where we got to eat at Paula Deen's restaurant (YUMMY!!!). The rest of the time was on the beach or the pool, which Charlie loved.

He did great on the airplane, something we were nervous about. He mostly slept or smiled at everyone sitting around us. It was not nearly the ordeal we had envisioned! Although..the altitude must have had some effect on his "output" because he had more poops on travel days than he ever does! (and we now know how to change him on our laps). He spent a lot of time during the vacation either in the stroller or in his carrier on James, and he loved to just look all around him and watch everything.

Somehow during the week he learned to search for his pacifier and put it back into his mouth, although it isn't always turned the right way. He is also very close to rolling over from back to front now. Not too bad for a week with very few toys or time to spend exercising!

Here are a few of our pictures from vacation--we have a ton! We are just glad he seems to enjoy traveling and seeing new things. I have a feeling we will be taking him everywhere!
