New Pictures

Here are a few recent pictures. A few weeks ago when Charlie was sick, I took Henry to Little Rock to visit Mammy and Pappy. Here he is with a smiling Mammy, who also just had a birthday this week! Happy birthday!!!



We took both boys to the tailgate for the Alabama game. Fortunately, we did not stay to see the terrible game. Henry slept most of the time (his first Razorback sporting event EVER!) while Charlie played with Papaw. Oh and I included a shot of Charlie and Gage getting beers for us out of the cooler...JUST JOKING! They were obsessed with the ice. We eventually had to put a stop to that.





My little baby sister Jenny turned the big 3-0 recently. We all went out to dinner to celebrate, including Dad who was in town. Charlie was enjoying the "ah-OO-gah" game with Papaw. (come on, don't you all do this? you pull an ear and it magically says "ah-OO-gah!"). Ha ha.






Here are a few things Charlie is saying these days:

"Momma go too?" (substitute Daddy, baby, Tess, whomever he thinks is missing)
"More xxx? more xxx? more xxx? more xxx?" (where xxx is the food of the moment, probably Cheetos or Cheerios or banana)
"No poo-poo!" (when you need a gas mask when you walk in the room)
"Hi Deh-Do! Hi Pitz! Hi Burhds! Hi Tees!" (didn't you get that? Dexter, Fritz, birds, trees)
"Play gym!"
"NO NAP!!!!"
"All coi-een!" (clean)
"Baby awake!" (as he looks guilty, usually standing next to him with a toy in his hand)

Charlie is also counting to ten a lot, sometimes to himself and sometimes while walking up stairs. Occasionally he misses one but he knows it pretty well. He can count objects up to 3. He can identify a lot of letters, not sure how many. And his memory is amazing, he must have a photographic memory!

Henry has fallen in love with his feet. They are one of the few things that keep his attention (along with the TV). He is getting stronger and loves his Exersaucer and Jumperoo, although he isn't really jumping yet like he will one of these days. He is getting more interactive all the time, and he can now reach for things and grasp them at will. Oops, he is waking up now--gotta go--here is a video of him giggling. What a great sound!
